The Beatles played on a roof, Sex Pistols on a boat and a selection of current artists used a shop window as a stage. A way to create awareness for small independent shop owners in the Uppsala city centre, while supporting the local music scene.

“The most jaw-dropping thing that has happened in our premises in almost 10 years as a company.”

Picture of artist Zoe Lobos

Zoe Lobos

With inspiration from various Latin American genres such as salsa, reggaeton and cumbia, Zoe is here to broaden the hip hop genre. As a woman in hip-hop, she wants to spread the message, and inspire other females to dare to take space and not apologize. She does this together with her band or with a simpler DJ set that makes every club break a sweat.

Agent Side Grinder

Agent Side Grinder is an electronic/post-punk/industrial monster from Sweden. The band has always moved in a borderland between genres. The roots can be found in early electronic music as well as in both post- and proto-punk. Equal parts grinding and explosive. Equal parts dissonant samples as melodic and elegant.

Three independent shop owners dared to transform their shop windows into a stage. Never before had the shop owners seen such a large crowd outside their shops. Never before had the artists played in a shop window.
