Welcome Eva!

Call me Kellis

Eva, Phosworks already has an Eva who is also a project manager so the risk of confusion is daunting! How shall we do?

You can call me Kellis, some of my earlier colleagues called me that 🙂

Right, so Kellis, what did you do prior to join Phosworks?
For the last 11 years I worked at UNICEF Sweden as a Project Manager with a focus on campaigns and film productions.

When I think of UNICEF and films I think of those ads on TV with terrible images of people in needs. Is that what you did?

Yes, I managed some of those productions. Depending on the needs the campaigns had different focus and themes. One year I travelled to Mongolia where we documented highlighted the situation faced by children with disabilities. Another year the focus was on violence in school in Albania. And another to help children with disabilities in the Philippines with protection in case of earthquakes. For UNiCEF I travelled to many countries and have had the privileged to meet with amazing people.

The boring one

What are you bringing to Phosworks?

I’ve managed some complicated projects in the past so I’m confident in my role. As much as I’m inspired by beautiful stories I’m not afraid as a project manager to be “the boring one”. There is a budget and there is a deadline and it’s my job to manage that.

Be sincere

Phosworks’ vision is ”Digital ideas for a sustainable future”. What do you make of this?  What do you think Phosworks can do for a sustainable future?

It might be too early for me to come with recommendations since I’m not sure what has already been done. But some thoughts… It’s always good to show the sincereness of the vision, by having an environmental thought at the office. An ecological approach, when buying groceries, using cars and so forth. Limiting travel if possible, and maybe reviewing data storage and transfers, can make any limits there and can we promote, develop more sustainable websites?

And finally…

  • Cat or dog? Cat (although allergic)
  • What’s your favorite color? Green (Forza Bajen!)
  • Seaside or mountain? Seaside
  • What would your superhero power be? Stop Child Abuse
  • What’s the worst food you’ve ever tried? Sundried yoghurt in Mongolia, that I was offered several times a day, when filming there. And had to eat due to politeness.
  • If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you choose? Crispbread with cheese.
  • If you could meet anyone, who would you meet? Rosa Parks, what a brave woman.
  • If you had a time machine, what time period would you travel to? The 90’s, good times 😉
  • Morning person or night person? Night person, that my children turned into a morning person…
