Today, Tuesday 28th. April, Phosworks and Ventures Accelerated host a spring salon at Skeppsbron 10 in Stockholm, bringing together the life science community for an evening shaped by art, our very own ”Vårsalong”
For the occasion, the office transforms into a gallery featuring two artists based in Uppsala and Stockholm, Emma Jelk and Jullianne Jabol.
Emma Jelk’s work explores human perception and emotional depth. Her paintings move between light and dark, shaped by curiosity, imagination, and personal experience. Working mainly with acrylic on canvas, she builds layered compositions that reflect how people see, feel, and construct their own realities. Her work invites the viewer to pause and reflect on their own inner landscape.

Jullianne Jabol focuses on the quiet details of everyday life. Influenced by her background in the Philippines and Sweden, she captures moments that often go unnoticed, from daily routines to shared forms of work. Using oil painting with a direct and expressive technique, she turns ordinary scenes into something reflective and open to interpretation.

Together, their work creates a contrast between inner emotion and external observation, giving the salon both depth and balance.
The spring salon is part of an ongoing collaboration between Phosworks and Ventures Accelerated, built on a shared belief that strong communities grow when people meet across disciplines.
