Cytiva
Virtual showroom

When the pandemic made it difficult for companies to connect with potential customers, Cytiva faced a particular challenge: how do you showcase complex instruments when in-person events and exhibitions are no longer an option?

The solution: bring the instruments to the customers.

We created interactive, real-time 3D instruments allowing anyone to explore the instruments on cytiva.com.

Let’s create something magical together.

A showroom wherever you are

The making of a virtual instrument

To create an accurate real-time 3D model, we’ll need a CAD file, reference images, and any other supporting material you can share. We also love seeing the real thing in person and we’re happy to visit you at the start of the project.

From there, we begin building and testing the model, making sure it runs smoothly in a real-time environment. Throughout the process, you’ll receive preview versions and we’ll pause for your feedback at key stages.

When it’s ready, we’ll deliver the final model embedded in the format that suits you best: on a web page, inside a VR experience, or as an augmented reality model for mobile devices.

Timeline:
Around one month from kickoff to delivery. More complex models, with animation or interactivity, may take a bit longer.

A real success

The real-time 3D models were so well received that we now create one for every new Cytiva instrument launch.

This enables the Cytiva sales team to engage with potential customers earlier in the process – without having to wait for a demo unit to be available.

Nowadays, at conferences, visitors can independently explore the instrument using an interactive touchscreen.

Let’s create something

amazing together.
