Galderma
Virtual reality tour

Galderma was preparing to launch a revolutionary ready-to-use liquid neuromodulator. To showcase the science, precision, and innovation behind it, we transformed their manufacturing process into a fully immersive 360° VR experience. Healthcare professionals around the world could step inside the production facility and explore every stage of the process, without ever traveling to Uppsala, Sweden.

Two Experiences. One objective.

We designed two complementary versions, both showcasing the care and scientific rigor behind the innovation.

Guided Tour: Built for high-traffic events where accessibility and throughput are critical. A seamless, five-minute immersion. No controllers. No menus. No instructions. Just put on the headset and you’re inside.

Go Explore: Designed for deeper engagement. Here, users navigate freely using hand controls and interactive hotspots, diving into each step of the manufacturing process at their own pace.

Two formats. Same story. Different depth.

Making the virtual feel real

For the Guided Tour, we designed around one insight: If it feels like tech, it breaks the spell.

1. Being There: No visible UI. No floating menus. Nothing to remind you it’s not real.

2. Story-Driven: Just like in a real facility, an expert guides you. One of Galderma’s own researchers leads the tour, pointing out details and explaining what’s happening inside the actual environment.

3. Zero Learning Curve: No controllers. No instructions. Simply turn your head toward the guide and follow the story.

The result: total immersion from the first second.

Depth without disruption

For the Go Explore version, we kept the richness of the Guided Tour while adding freedom. Each stage of the manufacturing process begins with an introduction from Galderma’s researcher. From there, users unlock deeper layers through hotspots.

Reading in VR can be cumbersome so we eliminated text-heavy panels. Every hotspot delivers information through short videos or audio snippets instead.

An attractive experience

The Guided Tour experience premiered at GAIN Dubai and quickly became the most visited attraction at the booth. And the results were more than anecdotal:

94% thought that the content was highly interesting
(scoring 5 out of 5).

83% loved the overall experience (scoring 5 out of 5).

What began as an English-language pilot is now rolling out globally in multiple languages, driven by demand from local Galderma teams.

Let’s create something

amazing together.
